This Notice supplements the Education Directory Privacy Policy and applies to California residents. EducationDirectory.net is operated by Ed Media LLC ("Education Directory," "we," "us," or "our").
This Notice describes our practices and your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (the "CCPA"). Terms defined by the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this Notice.

Right to opt out of sale or sharing. You may direct us not to sell or share your personal information.
Right to limit sensitive personal information. Where a business uses or discloses sensitive personal information in a manner that gives rise to this right under the CCPA, a consumer may direct the business to limit that use or disclosure. As described in Section 6, our current practices do not require us to provide this right.
Right to non-discrimination. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a right provided by the CCPA.

We do not require identity verification merely to process a request to opt out of sale or sharing, although we may request information reasonably necessary to associate the request with relevant records.
For requests to know, delete or correct, we may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and that the information relates to you. Verification requirements vary depending on the nature and sensitivity of the information requested.

We may require appropriate evidence of the agent's authority and, where permitted, may ask you to verify your identity or confirm that you authorized the request.
Where required by the CCPA, we process qualifying browser-based opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, as requests to opt out of sale and sharing.
The effect of a signal depends on our ability to associate the signal with the consumer or information involved.
After processing an opt-out request, we will not sell or share the applicable personal information unless you subsequently provide authorization as permitted by law.
California law may provide certain residents with rights concerning disclosures of personal information to third parties for those third parties' own direct-marketing purposes.
