Congress Grants $1.3 Billion to Colleges for Building Projects

Congress has approved a whopping $1.3 billion to help colleges with building projects around the country. This finance is from the federal appropriations bill recently signed into law by the President.

What Does This Mean for Colleges?

The large sum will directly assist colleges in renovating, constructing, and improving facilities, as well as offering financial aid opportunities. A significant part of the funding has been directed to historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs).

The Breakdown of the Grant
